Shipping policy

   Thank you for shopping with Top Horse    Equestrian! We want to make sure your order gets to you as quickly and smoothly as possible. Please review our shipping guidelines below.
Free Canadian Shipping: We are proud to offer Free Standard Shipping across Canada on all orders of $100 or more (before provincial and federal taxes are applied).

Free local curbside/in-store pick up is available during business hours at our retail location in Stony Plain, Alberta at 100, 5013 - 48 Street T7Z 1L8 Please allow at least 1 business day for pick up to avoid delays when you arrive. 


​1. Processing Times
​All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Canadian statutory holidays).
•  ​Cut-Off Time: Orders placed after 12:00PM MST or over the weekend will begin processing on the following business day.
• ​You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number as soon as your order leaves our store.
​2. Domestic Shipping Rates & Estimated Delivery Times (Within Canada)
​We ship nationwide exclusively via Canada Post at this time. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order weight and destination

It may take longer than normal to be delivered due to on where you live and/or increase in shipment volumes, partially during the holiday season. We will not be responsible for lost/damaged shipments. 

Please be aware that carrier delivery times can vary and we do not guarantee specific delivery times.

Please inspect your order upon receiving and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Heavy and or bulky items are not included in our shipping rates and do not qualify for free shipping promotions- due to higher shipping costs, additional shipping charges will apply regardless of your order value. Items that have higher and/or additional shipping costs are:

  • Blankets
  • Supplements/Treats
  • Whips
  • Saddles

Note: The $100 free shipping threshold is calculated based on the subtotal of your order before taxes (GST/HST/PST) and after any discounts or coupon codes have been applied.
​Note on Remote Areas: Deliveries to Northern Territories (YT, NT, NU) or rural/remote regions may incur slightly longer transit times and regional surcharges.
3. US & International Shipping
        At this time, we only ship to addresses within Canada. We apologize, but we do not offer shipping to the United States or other international destinations at this time.

​4. How to Track Your Order
​Once your order ships, we will send you a confirmation email containing a tracking number.  Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update on the carrier's portal.
​5. Lost, Damaged, or Missing Packages
​We do our best to ensure your package arrives safely, but sometimes hiccups happen:
•  ​Damaged in Transit: If your package arrives damaged, please take photos of the packaging/items and contact us immediately at tophorseequestrian@hotmail.com

•  ​Lost Packages: If your tracking history shows "delivered" but you haven't received your package, please check with neighbors, building managers, or your local post office first. If it is still missing after [3] business days past the estimated delivery date, contact us so we can open an investigation with the carrier.
​6. Returns, Exchanges, and Address Errors
• ​Incorrect Addresses: Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the buyer. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping.
